Is this a native iPhone or Android app?
No. It is an installable web reader. It is not submitted to the Apple App Store or Google Play.
How do readers install it?
Readers open the book link in a compatible browser and follow the included device-specific Home Screen instructions.
Will it work offline?
After the first successful load and cache installation, the included text and cached assets can remain available without a connection.
Do I need an ISBN?
InstallableBook does not require an ISBN technically. Whether you need one for other publishing or distribution purposes is a separate publishing decision.
Does it include DRM?
No. Standard delivery does not include digital rights management or strong access control.
Can I sell access?
You may use your own sales and fulfillment process, but standard InstallableBook delivery does not include ecommerce or secure account access.
Do I keep my copyright?
Yes. You must own or control the submitted content, and you retain ownership of it.
Can the book be updated?
Yes, but the files must be regenerated or edited and redeployed. Substantial updates may require a new quote.
What files do I receive?
You receive a deployable website package, normally as a ZIP, containing the reader and book assets.
Does the $99 price cover every manuscript?
No. It is the starting price for clean, primarily text-based manuscripts. Complex projects are quoted before work begins.
Can you convert a PDF?
A PDF can be reviewed, but DOCX is preferred for flowing books. PDF-to-book conversion may require additional cleanup.
Do you publish to Kindle or Apple Books?
Not as part of the standard service. InstallableBook is a direct web distribution format.
